Manual "Invoice Created" mail gives white screen after upgrade to 5.2.1

After the upgrade to 5.2.1 when I click the "Send Email" button to send an "Invoice Created" email within:

/admin/invoices.php?action=edit&id=XXX we get a white screen and the script bugs out.

No mail is sent.

Solution anyone?
