This is scARY, I mean I am glad for you WHMCS but I fear for the rest of us who think CPanel is a bloated pos. When partnerships like this form it almost always leads to unfair advantages and in worse case neglect to other systems.
I applaud you for your business strategy but please please enhance your api to implement user access controls based on the permissions system you have in place and allow for user roles and reseller roles templates to be created just like you have for admin roles.
This way those of us who want the same tight integration's with other panels can do so via your api, and this leaves you to focus on your cpanel partnership without leaving the rest of us in the dust. As well as opens up the door for a slew of mobile applications and systems integrations.
