I want full control and manipulation of shopping cart in WHMCS. I want access to every stage of the order, shopping cart, and etc. for the order process.
Right now as it stands I can't easily jump into the middle of an order, process it, and manipulate the shopping cart. This allows customization based on circumstances that WHMCS doesn't support, won't support, or hasn't introduced features yet.
An example:
I have a product as an addon (0.00$) because it's primarily it's own product. I just want users to be able to easily add it to their current product as an addon (triggering add to cart of the product) for simplicity so they don't have to go shopping again. The reason for this is the product is per domain so you require multiple ones for multiple domains, but if your getting hosting you can just tack it on for that domain easily as a way to boost sales of that product and promote awareness. Additionally you can purchase the product on it's own without hosting if you have a domain you want to use it on (don't need a domain with us).
So without the existing feature to support this, strong API/hooks allows developers to support this on their own.
