At QiQ we are presently extending our Docsaway WHMCS module.
At present, it can be used to mail WHMCS invoices through the post from around 20 Worldwide locations. We are enhancing the module so it can be used to confirm the address of clients. In summary, when criteria is met, a letter is sent to a client containing a verification code. The client then logs into their WHMCS installation, enters the verification code and the client is then recorded as 'Verified".
If a client does not complete the verification after a configurable number of days following the mailing of the letter, an email is sent to the WHMCS admin address advising the client remains unverified. The admin could then, for example, cancel an order.
As an Accredited Nominet member we will be using this process when Nominet is unable to verify a contacts address. By sending a letter and having the mailing address verified we are able to meet Nominets requirements. We have confirmed with Nominet that this approach will be acceptable.
We would welcome any comments or thoughts on this module and if you would like to be advise when it is available, please subscribe here - http://eepurl.com/Waidr
