License transfer between sole trader and limited company

Hi folks,

I'm wondering if it makes sense for me to purchase a WHMCS license in order to test it out myself before I register a new company in order to launch my hosting service on its own (I'm a web developer). Would I be able to transfer the license to the new company or would I have to discard the old one and purchase a new one?
