install file corrupt

I've tryed to install whmcs on my local machine, as dev.
Before I've installed, with success, ioncube loader.
When try to launch whmcs/install/install.php, it throw an error "file install.php is corrupt".
I've download, and replace the install file more times...but without change!
I can't install whmcs!
Any help?

I was modifying the heater.tpl and suddenly I got this error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxxx/templates_c/%%27^27B^27BD4BA9%%header.tpl.php on line 186

I tried to delete the file and I can't

Any fix?

Add to cart button?

The standard order form shows 3 buttons on our install:

Empty Cart
Continue Shopping (which does not add product so act as a "change your mind and continue shopping button)
Add to cart and checkout (which completes setup and payment).

Is there not a "Add to cart" button which allows both adding to cart AND continue shopping?

HI there

My customers create tickets, and receive email notification of the tickets, but WHMCS doesn't display the tickets, even in the WHMCS admin panel, and the URL for the tickets that are sent to the customer go to a page which says: "An error occurred. The requested ticket could not be found."

Two days ago we moved our whmcs install onto a brand new dedicated server, and up until then, it was working fine with one email for all support departments, my techs will delete and leave just one support department and email to see I that is a issue but I really think it is a issue caused by our sever migration

Does someone know what could we causing this issue?

So i'm attempting to create a "package" where a monthly recurring price will be billed to the customer. My problem is that I can't figure out how to create an additional "monthly payment" and split it into a payment that only get's billed to the client in 2 or 3 months then stops. For example:

I'm charging my customer $19.99 monthly recurring fee to use my services. Now my customer want's to add an additional service of $600. I want to charge my customer 2 installments of $300. So the $300 x 2 = $600 and now the recurring payment for the one time fee automatically stops.

Can someone please help me out in how to setup this process.

[Case 4339] Email CSS Styling Hot Fix

An issue has been discovered in the 5.3.6 release that means CSS styling is not applied to emails sent to end users. While the email still works and all information contained within it will be displayed, the lack of CSS formatting can cause it to display in a less than ideal way.

As a result we have issued a hot-fix patch that resolves it.

Apply the Hot-Fix


To apply the hot fix simply download the zip file from the URL below, unzip it, and then upload the file contained within it to the /includes/classes/WHMCS/ folder.

No further steps are necessary.

Payment is adding into client funds

Hi ,

Once the payment is completed , the payement is getting credited into the credit balence of the client instead int o main account . Could you please let me know why the payment goint into the credit balence . As per my knowledge if the client is paying more amount than what he needs to pay , then the remainng amount will be added under funds . But in this case he paid the exaact amount as per the invoice ,and the total amount got added up under funds .i.e under credit balence .Please let me know about the above issue .

[Case 4339] Email CSS Styling Hot Fix

It is important to note that the email does still work, and all information contained within it will be displayed, but the lack of CSS formatting can cause it to display in a less than ideal way.

AutoAuth location inside whmcs folder or out?

Hi,

I have a question about AutoAuth in WHMCS.
I use SMF for my main site and WHMCS for the billing side, and would like to auto log them in, I found an addon that creates account from WHMCS into SMF, just need the auto login between the 2.

If I was to make a login script and have it sign into SMF and WHMCS (using AutoAuth) does the script need to be in the WHMCS folder, or can it be outside of it?

Discount on payment method

Hi there,

We still have some clients who insist on paying by cheque.

I want to create an incentive to that online payments (Bacs or whatever) are discounted against cheque payments.

Alternatively we can make cheque payments more expensive against product list price, I don't care.

Is there any way at all to do that?

Cardinal 3D secure transaction PW error

Hi,
We have just gone to implement 3D secure, but are getting an issue, we raised this as a ticket but here told its an issue with either paypal or cardinal both say its not them so now I am going around and around.
When a customer tries to make payment it fails and in the gateway log we see:
ERRORDESC => Error Processing Lookup Request Message, Invalid Transaction Password
ERRORNO => 1002, 2020
TRANSACTIONID => XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
ENROLLED => U

Speak to Paypal, they say that's not their error, and when we speak with Cardinal in the US we are told they are not even getting the request from us to them, so now I have no idea.

Anyone shine any light on this for me?

moStripe

This is a brief report on my experience with the moStripe gateway module. There are couple of custom Stripe modules available, some free some not, and all seemingly of high quality. I did not try any of them and will therefore not make any comparisons.

We chose moStripe specifically because 1) it addresses our PCI concerns and 2) it does not require any customization of WHMCS templates. No template changes are necessary because moStripe does not use Stripe.js but Stripe's PHP API instead. Doing so does mean that card information still flows through our server, but we do not consider that a problem. The crucial issue for us was to not store any card information on our sever. moStripe facilitates this by (on receipt of a payment) moving any previously stored card information over to Stripe and removed it from WHMCS. All that remains in WHMCS is the last four digits of the card number, which is helpful.

Installation of moStripe was pretty straight-forward. I literally got it done in less than an hour.

Support on moStripe has been excellent. We did have an initial problem with payment from some customers; the issue was caused by "dirty" credit card information that dates back from years ago when we used ModernBill and WorldPay. Once we identified the cause, it was easy to fix. Mo was quick to reply to my emails and provided thorough responses.

This is the best $25 I have spend this year!

In case you wondered, I am not associated with moStripe in any way whatsoever. I am just a regular WHMCS user and a very happy moStripe customer.

Twilio Late Payment for WHMCS

I've contracted to get build a module that will call client with overdue payment. It was contracted a while back but never finished it completely its working 80% but some functionality is missing. I am looking for somebody who would like to help in finishing the module, Either as a contract or perhaps partnership if interested.

Please let me know if anybody is interested. The module was created in PHP.

[Payment Gateways] PayPal Website Payments Pro (Errors)

I am trying to get my WHMCS all set up to receive payments from my PayPal Pro account. I have everything set up for the Gateway, however I am based in the US and do not have the 3D Credentials that are required for UK sellers. This is how my Gateway model is set up:

PayPal Website Payments Pro
Display Name ENTERED
API Username ENTERED
API Password ENTERED
API Signature ENTERED
Processor ID NOT SURE (Cardinal 3D Secure Details)
Merchant ID NOT SURE
Transaction PW NOT SURE

I cannot seem to find, and PayPal is not assisting me to find the fields for Processor ID, Merchant ID, and Transaction PW. Where can I find these, or bypass them? I am receiving the following errors when I try to auto process a credit card from WHMCS that a client has on file with me:
