Problem with form and link in clientareaproductdetails.tpl

Hi, I have a problem in the "product details", all the links and buttons are visible but not working.

For example, the plesk login button is visible but not bring to the login page, the change password buttons (save and cancel) are visible but not working and the link to the domain is visible but not working!

Can you give me a hand?

Create Hosting product in client account

Hi,

I've had to make some manual changes on the server for a customer regarding his domains and manually split a reseller package into hosting packages. Since the websites are existing I can't delete and recreate them easily.

So, I just want to login onto my admin area, open the client, open the Hosting product and manually add the product of choice. I can't find any 'Add product' options. How do I do this 'simply'?

Or do I really have to go into the database and add one myself?

No "Create Prorata Invoice" checkbox?

Hello,

I want to change the next due date on a client's product and have a prorata invoice generated accordingly.

On the "Pricing" tab of the product's set-up page I have the "Prorata Billing" option checked (enabled).

According to WHMCS documentation here (http://docs.whmcs.com/Products_Manag...dons.2FDomains) I should have a "Create Prorata Invoice checkbox" on the screen but, I do not have one.

How do I do this? Is this a bug or bad documentation or am I missing something here?

Product Pricing problem

Products/Services >> Create a New Product >> Pricing problem

When a product is make, there is now for the 6 time the same problem with Pricing edit.
When I sellect Recurring en Enable the Annually ore what ever, the input fields does not show at all. I cannot fill in the price of this product at all.

WHMCS Version 5.3.6 installed from Installatron Applications from my web hoster.

Please advice in this problem, reagars from John

Suspending an Account - Locked out of System until Payment

Here is a question I have.

I want to auto suspend someone if they have unpaid invoices after X amount of days, now I know you can suspend a "SERVICE", however, that is not what I am looking for. I want it to suspend the ENTIRE account, this way they can't login to the system until their invoices are paid and the balances have been cleared.

Please let me know if there is a way to do this.

Logo does not work in email and PDF

Hello,

I am setting up WHMCS and have sent a few test invoices. The logo spot in the email shows a broken image icon and the PDF shows the placeholder image.

I have added my logo as logo.png and logo.jpg to the images directory. Also just as an experiment renamed placeholder.png to see if I can at least make it go away. I also went to invoicepdf.tpl and changed the logo width to match the width of my image.

None of these things seem to make a difference. What am I doing wrong?

On a side note, why can't I find a forum search bar to see if this question has been asked before?:?:

A brand new set up and I've spent hours trying to find out what the url is to the client area
I get 'page not found' at www.mydomain/whmcs

They say there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers, but I think this question must be close to qualifying as stupid!! so apologies in advance.
I have set up many Wordpress sites, static html sites, Virtuemart, Zen Cart and work with WooCommerce and Joomla - this one's got me beat!

Delete Invoice from Database

Hello all,

I have been carrying out quite a few tests lately and I want to delete the created invoices....I have deleted the invoices within WHMCS and even the test users, however when I create another invoice it does not drop the invoice number back to the ones prior to the tests.

I have gone into the database and remove the invoices from tlinvoices and tlinvoiceitems however it's still not working....any ideas?

Locked out of admin section due to License Noconnection (current owned license)

So I hadn't used the admin section for a few days, open my bookmark today and the admin section loads but extremely slowly (it's on a dedicated ssd server with 0 load ..other scripts run fine)

So I click on the 'license info' link under help and it now just shows me this License Noconnection box for the whole admin section.

What the hell is going on ?!?

So I start researching and find out about Matt's "curltest.php" which I downloaded put in the admin folder and accessed online. What do you know ..the test script tells me that curl can't verify whmcs.com's SSL cert.

I check the cert at https://www.whmcs.com and what do you know it was issued today, so a new cert.

So i find this page http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6400300/php-curl-https-causing-exception-ssl-certificate-problem-verify-that-the-ca-cer

..and following their tips, I install that cacert.pem from http://curl.haxx.se/ca/cacert.pem and enable it in my php.ini

Now the curltest.php runs without any issues and displays the html code correctly (ie. it grabs the index page from whmcs.com)

BUT my admin section is STILL locked out with the same LICENSE NOCONNECTION nonsense. What the hell is going on and how do i fix this ??

This is a LINUX server with all required modules and whmcs.com's IP address is NOT blocked by either the server firewall (CSF) or our edge firewall. I am able to ping whmcs.com from the server without any issues.

re locating whmcs install folder / Url rewrite

Hi,

I originally installed whmcs in http://mydomain.com/clients

I now need to move whmcs to parent directory e.g. http://mydomain.com as I got a custom whmcs template requiring whmcs to be installed at root folder.

My main concern is paypal IPN as I got a lot of subscriptions registered to use http://mydomain.com/clients/modules/...ack/paypal.php
and re creating each and every subscription is not an option for me.

I am not 100% sure that would work but I believe url rewrite should do the trick in that case.

Ideally I would like that any request sent to http://mydomain.com/clients/... gets rewritten to http://mydomain.com/...
Example if a customer wants to browse http://mydomain.com/clients/index.php?language=english he gets redirected to http://mydomain.com/index.php?language=english

If that is not doable Id like at least to rewrite the paypal IPN url from
http://mydomain.com/clients/modules/...ack/paypal.php
to
http://mydomain.com/modules/gateways...ack/paypal.php

any help would be great here as I am having hard times with rewrite rules.
Note that I am using IIS however I should be able to translate apache rules to IIS without problem as I did it for whmcs SEO friendly url's.

Version 5.3.6. installed from my Main Hosting company.

Knowledgebase

When you add a new Knowledgebase category, it goes strait away wrong in the clients area. When you select the new Knowledgebase category, you get page not found.

If you delete the new added Knowledgebase category and make a new one that’s make no different at all the problem sty.

Server Status

Client Area: see picture, the Uptime off the server does not show up at all after days online.

Products/Services

Product Pricing will freeze after a while, you cannot change the price ore add a new product price at all.

The software was installed 6 times with Installatron Applications from DirectAdmin from my Hosting company. Options what I have have change to try resolve this problem.

- Cleanup Operations and all the options there to clean up the system, the problem stay.
- Change to different language, absolute no result
- Changing Template from blend to v4 ore original absolute no result
- Clearing templates cache (templates_c folder), absolute no result
- Web browser cache is always off, no result
- Using multiple brouwers, Chrome, IE & Firefox, absolute no result
- Turn off all virus scanners and set open all options in the browsers, absolute no result

With this kind off problems Knowledgebase & products prices problem, you have to delete the complete WHMCS installation and setup a new one from Installatron Applications from DirectAdmin my Hosting company. But I know that this kind off problems stay and repeat his self again and again.

To WHMCS well to understand that how everything works, are you a long time to find that out. Once your WHMCS begins to understand and get some products in WHMCS, it turns out there are too many problems to come forward which the whole design. WHMCS product is not stable, and exhibits after some time problems. I believe that the whole of WHMCS faced this kind of problem first, before I ever about would go to a more expensive prodcut of WHMCS and or that I will use WHMCS really.

Adding new order and it not working.

I added a new order and made it active so i can test the CPanel

I never got the email but i did resend it through the admin panel and this is what i got and everything was mostly wrong.

" Add Funds " link not displayed in Client Area

I noticed that once logged into the Client Area, there is no Add Funds link. I have checked my settings ( Setup >General Settings > Credit) and have it enabled.

A client who placed an order 12 hours ago, informed me that there is no Add Funds link, so i logged into his account and cannot find the link anywhere.

I have read the Docs and still can't find an answer to this.

Renew old License or Buy New?

I installed WHMCS on my server nearly a year ago but never had the time to pursue much more than that. My license expired the following month and has not been used since. During this time I never hosted any domains or gained any clients.

Now that I have the time to actually invest in a small hosting business, should I just renew my old license, or should I get a new license and install everything from scratch?

I question which is best because I invested a good deal of time into setting everything up on my server, getting everything setup and working in WHMCS, and with my domain registrars, etc, so it would be nice not to have to do all of that over again.

At the same time I'm sure there have been many updates and db changes in the last year, and for this reason it might be good to just go with a new install.

Thoughts appreciated...

Customising Email templates

Hey,
I've gone ahead and got a email template coded. Now the only thing is, I do not have a style.css file in the folder and I see that you are able to add CSS to the email in the Mail tab in General settings.

Instead of a style.css I have a <style> tag found in the top of the index.html. I've tried pasting all of this into the Global Email CSS Styling section in the General Settings but it doesn't seem to work.

Could it be because of these: /* Fonts and Content */

Could I have some assistance?
